Happy to say that, with OUR support she has successfully completed Bsc Physics in first class, now she has joined B.Ed in a college near Kanyakumari. She strongly believes that education will transform her small world into best and working hard for that.
When we visited her family this time, found that her financial situation has never changed. Her father doesn’t want his girls to go college and he is still continuing his alcohol without supporting the family.
Her mother earns very little by making broomsticks and managing the family. She is in need of Rs.36500 to pay for tuition fee.
Her story from our old cause: She lives with her father, mother and a younger sister. Father is a daily wages worker with less monthly income. Her father doesn't want his kids to continue their education because of his drinking habits and also not helping them financially.
She scored good marks while in school and she would like to do MSc Physics after BSc. Her sister recently passed out from 12th standard with good marks and waiting for BSc nursing admission. Her education is going to be funded by TamilNadu government, friends and some charity organization.
